PCCWGL

The PCCWGL was organized in 1995 by a group of 15 women, many of whom are still actively involved. Our membership encompasses a wide range of handicaps. We welcome new members who have knowledge of the game and have had some experience in playing golf.

The League meets every Tuesday from April to early October. Tee off time is 8:30 am in April, May and September, October. During June thru August tee off time is 8 am. Foursomes each week are determined by a combination of arrival time and your flight.

Women interested in joining the Princeton Country Club Women's Golf League for exercise, the camaraderie, or the competition can stop by the golf course any Tuesday after April 1st. The best time to talk to us would be around 12:30 pm while we're doing our paper work. We'll be happy to talk to you and answer any questions you may have about membership in our league.

Golfers are put into flights A or B determined by their handicaps. If a new member does not have a handicap she must record five rounds of golf before one is prepared for her.

A different type of tournament is held each week to take into consideration the ability levels of the various members. Points are given to the first, second, third and fourth place finishers in each flight.

Three Championship Rounds are scheduled throughout the season. The best two out of three scores determine the A and B flight champions at the end of the season.

Trophies are awarded at the League Luncheon in October to the low gross and low net winners in each flight and to the most improved player of the year.
